Sometimes it takes someone else to see what's been inside you all along.
I'm Truett — a life and performance coach based in the Pacific Northwest. I don't give you advice or tell you what to do. I ask the questions that help you get to your own answers — the ones that have been there the whole time. That's what coaching is. And that's what we do here.
A lot of people think they need more information. More books. More podcasts. More advice from people who don't really know their situation. What they actually need is a conversation. Not someone telling them what to do — but someone asking the right questions until the answers start coming from the inside out. That's what coaching is. And that's what makes it different from therapy, consulting, or advice. Coaching is present and future focused. We're not here to dig through your past — we're here to figure out where you want to go and what's been getting in the way. The answers are already in you. My job is to help you find them. Here's what we work on: — Getting clear on what you actually want (not what you think you should want) — Identifying the beliefs that are quietly running the show — Breaking patterns that keep showing up no matter how hard you try — Building momentum you can feel — not just talk about. And soon, through my Masters of NLP certification, I'll be able to go even deeper — working directly with the subconscious patterns and limiting beliefs that conversation alone can't always reach. That's the next level of this work, and it's coming.
You don't have to be in crisis to work with a coach. You just have to know that something needs to change. Maybe you're high-functioning on the outside but running on empty on the inside. Maybe you've been stuck in the same pattern for longer than you want to admit. Maybe you feel like everyone else got the manual for life and you somehow missed it. Or maybe — like a lot of people right now — you came out of the last few years feeling disconnected from yourself in ways that are hard to put into words. Whatever brought you here, one thing is true: You already have what you need. You just need the right conversation to find it. That's what I'm here for.

A: No — and understanding the difference matters. Therapy typically focuses on healing the past. It's clinical, it's diagnostic, and it's designed to treat mental health conditions. Coaching is different. Coaching is present and future-focused. We're not here to process what happened — we're here to figure out where you want to go and what's been getting in the way. You don't need to be struggling to work with a coach. You just need to be ready to move forward.

A: Not at all. Some of my best sessions happen with people who are doing well but know they're capable of more. Coaching isn't crisis management — it's momentum. It's for anyone who's ready to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be.

A: Then I'll tell you. Honestly. Coaching and therapy serve different purposes, and I'm not here to be something I'm not. If what you're dealing with is better suited for a licensed therapist, I'll say so. There's no shame in that — knowing what kind of support you need is actually a sign of self-awareness. And if coaching is the right fit, we'll know that too.
No pitch. No pressure. Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to be. If it feels like a fit, we go from there. Either way, you'll walk away with something useful.
